一、学校简介

Ⅰ. About Jinzhong College of Information (JZCI)

晋中信息学院（原山西农业大学信息学院），成立于2003年，在校生2.2万余人，是经国家教育部批准、由山西省教育厅主管的全日制普通本科高校。学校以信息科技为特色，文、理、工、农、经、管、艺术等多学科协调发展，是一所注重学科交叉融合的应用型大学，是一所信息产业商学院，是一所最受尊崇的大学。2020年12月23日，教育部正式公布，山西农业大学信息学院转设更名为晋中信息学院，是山西省首批成功转设的高校之一。

Jinzhong College of Information (formerly known as College of Information, Shanxi Agricultural University), founded in 2003, with more than 22,000 students, is a full-time ordinary undergraduate College approved by the Ministry of Education of China and supervised by the Department of Education of Shanxi Province. JZCI is a modern multidisciplinary institution featured in information science and technology programs while developing multi-disciplines including humanities, science, engineering, economics, management and arts, aiming to train qualified management personnel to serve the rising information industry. On December 23, 2020, the Ministry of Education officially announced that College of Information, Shanxi Agricultural University was renamed Jinzhong College of Information, becoming one of the first colleges of its kind in Shanxi Province to get independence successfully as a private college.

学校座落在晋商文化名城、孟母故里——山西太谷，文化底蕴深厚，区位优势突出，交通网状分布四通八达，到省城太原30分钟车程，到首都北京飞机50分钟、高铁3个多小时，学生既可在安静的环境下读书，又可以尽享繁华大都市的现代生活。

JZCI is located in Taigu, Shanxi Province - the hometown of Shanxi merchants and Mencius’ mother which boasts a long history with rich cultural accumulation and outstanding regional advantages. With convenient transportation networks, it takes only 30 minutes by car to reach the provincial capital Taiyuan, 50 minutes by plane and over 3 hours by high-speed rail to the national capital Beijing. Students can enjoy studying in a peaceful environment while also experiencing the modern life of bustling metropolises easily.

学校占地面积近1000亩，建筑面积43.2万平方米，其中教学及其辅助用房15.53万平方米，学生宿舍（公寓）22.12万平方米。目前在校生2万2千余人。学校在山西省内率先实施了全员书院制改革，成立了太行书院、三达书院、白燕书院、上河书院、毣谷书院等12大书院，设有8个二级学院、4个教学部、5个特色部门，开设有46个本科专业和若干国际合作项目（专业），构筑了具有品牌优势、特色鲜明、适应社会需求、多学科协调发展的学科布局结构。

JZCI covers an area of nearly 1000 acres, with a building area of 432,000 square meters, including 155,300 square meters for teaching and supporting facilities, and 221,200 square meters for student dormitories (apartments). Currently, there are over 22,000 full-time students. JZCI has taken the lead in implementing the reform of JZCI featured residential system in Shanxi Province, establishing 12 Residential colleges including Taihang Residential College, Sanda Residential College, Baiyan Residential College, Shanghe Residential College, and Mugu Residential College. There are also 8 secondary colleges, 4 teaching departments, and 5 featured teaching units, offering 46 undergraduate majors and several international cooperation programs (majors). The college has created a disciplinary structure with brand advantages, distinctive characteristics which could adapt to the demand of the changing society with coordinated development of multiple disciplines.

1.学费（元人民币/学年）

2.报名费：人民币400元/人（不予退还）。

2. Application fee: 400 yuan per person(This fee will not be returned).

3.为了保障来华留学生的人身安全，根据教育部的规定和学校来华留学生管理的要求，所有来华留学生应在到校报到注册之前购买来华留学生保险，费用为800元人民币/人/年。具体的保险事项详见当年的新生入学须知。

3. In order to protect the personal safety of international students, according to the regulations of the Ministry of Education and the management requirements for international students of JZCI, all international students must purchase insurance before enrollment. The cost is RMB 800 per person per year. For specific insurance details, please refer to the current year's Admission Guide for New International Students.

四、申请资格

IV. Application Eligibility

1.身份要求：申请者应为非中国籍公民，且符合教育部教外函〔2020〕12号文件要求。申请人身心健康，愿意遵守中国的法律法规及晋中信息学院规章制度。

1. Identity requirements: Applicants should be non-Chinese citizens and meet the requirements of Document No. 12 of the Ministry of Education's Education and Foreign Affairs Letter [2020]. Applicants should be physically and mentally healthy and willing to abide by Chinese laws and regulations as well as the rules and regulations of Jinzhong College of Information.

2. 华裔学习背景要求：父母双方或一方为中国公民或申请者本人从中国大陆（内地）、香港、澳门和台湾移民外国后取得外国国籍的，根据中华人民共和国教育部教外函〔2020〕12 号文，须入籍4年（含）以上，且最近4年之内有在外国实际居住2年以上的记录。（一年中实际在外国居住满9个月可按照一年计算，以入境和出境签章为准）。

2. Background Requirements for foreign citizen of chinese origin: If both or one of the parents is a Chinese citizen or if the applicant has acquired a foreign nationality after emigrating from the mainland of China (Mainland), Hong Kong, Macao, and Taiwan, the applicant must have been a naturalized citizen for at least 4 years (inclusive) according to the Document No. 12 of the Ministry of Education of the People's Republic of China on Education and Foreign Affairs 〔2020〕 and have a record of having physically resided in a foreign country for at least 2 years within the last 4 years. (Actual residence in a foreign country for 9 months in a year can be counted as one year, based on the entry and exit stamps).

出生在国外的申请者，也需符合上述要求，并提交个人出生证明和父母国籍材料。

Applicants who were born in a foreign country must also meet the above requirements and submit their individual birth certificates and parent's nationality documents.

3.年龄要求：申请者年满18周岁，年龄计算按入学当年9月1日为准；仍未满18周岁的申请人，须在申请时提交监护人保证书。

3. Age requirement: Applicants must be at least 18 years old, and the age calculation is based on September 1 of the year of admission; applicants who are still under 18 years old are required to submit a letter of guarantee from their guardian when applying.

4. 语言能力要求

4. Language Proficiency Requirement

申请中文授课者，汉语水平须达到新HSK4级180分（含）以上。母语为汉语或高中阶段使用汉语授课的申请者，经我校认定，可免除提供HSK成绩。

Applicants for Chinese language teaching must have a Chinese language proficiency of 180 points or above in the New HSK 4 level. Applicants whose mother tongue is Chinese or who have been taught in Chinese in high school may be exempted from providing HSK scores if recognized by JZCI.

申请英文授课者，英语水平需达TOEFL 80分及以上，或IELTS 6.0及以上。母语为英语或上一学历使用英语授课的申请者，经我校认定，可免除提供TOEFL、IELTS成绩。

For applicants who are taught in English, the English level must be TOEFL 80 or above, or IELTS 6.0 or above. Applicants whose mother tongue is English or whose previous education was taught in English may be exempted from providing TOEFL or IELTS scores if recognized by JZCI.

非学历教育中文能力不作要求。

Chinese language proficiency is not required for non-degree programs.

五、申请流程

V. Application Procedures

3. 申请材料

3. Application Materials

注：

1）申请人开学前两个月提交申请材料，所有材料须为中文或英文，或中英文翻译件的公证件，报到注册时需提供所有材料原件以供审核。

2)申请材料提交后不予退还。

3)申请人须在提交报名材料的同时缴纳报名费。接受现金和网上支付,不接受其他币种及旅行支票，申请费用不予退还。申请材料不全或未缴纳申请费，申请将不予受理。

4）必要时，我校会要求申请人提交补充材料，请密切留意邮箱及校园官网动态。

Note :

1) The applicant shall submit the application materials two months before the semester begins. All materials must be in Chinese or English, or notarized copies of the Chinese and English translations, and the originals of all materials must be provided for review when reporting for registration.

2) Application materials will not be returned after submission.

3) Applicants are required to submit the application materials together with the application fee. Cash and online payment are accepted. Other currencies and traveler’s checks will not be accepted. Application fees is not refundable. Applications will not be processed if the application materials are incomplete or the application fee has not been paid.

4) If necessary, JZCI will ask applicants to submit additional documents, please pay attention to the E-mail and campus official website.

4.审查程序

4. Review Procedures

（1）我校将综合审查申请者的国籍身份、最高学历、专业基础、语言证书等相关材料。

JZCI will comprehensively review the applicant's nationality status, highest academic qualifications, professional background, language proficiency certificates and other relevant materials.

（2）我校对通过资格审查的申请人分批次进行远程视频面试考核，重点考查申请人的语言交流和综合素质等。具体面试安排详见邮件通知。

JZCI will conduct remote video interview in batches for applicants who pass the qualification review. The interview will focus on assessing the applicants' language communication and comprehensive quality, etc. Specific interview arrangements will be detailed in the E-mail notifications.

5.申请结果通知

5. Publication of the Application Result

学校将根据学生的资格审查和面试考核结果择优录取，国际交流与合作处将发送审核结果至申请人邮箱，请及时关注邮箱动态。录取通知书和来华学习签证申请表将根据国家入境政策及学校相关规定统一寄出。

JZCI will select candidates based on the qualification review and interview assessment results. International Exchange and Cooperation Office (IECO) will send the final decision to applicants via E-mail, so please pay attention to the news of the E-mail in time. Admission letters and the JW202/JW201 visa application forms will be mailed in accordance with national entry policies and regulations of JZCI.

6.报到时间

6. Registration Time

通过审核并在规定日期前缴纳保证金（2000元，可冲抵住宿费）的学生，晋中信息学院国际交流与合作处将向其发放录取通知书和《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》（JW202表）。

Students who pass the review and pay the deposit (2,000 RMB, which can be offset the accommodation fee) by the required date will be provided with Admission letters and Application for Visa to China for Foreign Students (Form JW202) by IECO of JZCI.

来华留学生新生注册报到时间为每年8月至9月，具体请看录取通知书。

The registration time for new international students is from August to September every year, please refer to the admission letter for details.

报到时需携齐全的报到材料，包括个人普通护照原件（不接受外交护照和因公护照）、录取通知书、签证申请表原件（JW202/JW201）及入境学生签证。新生入学时须携带所要求的中文或英文学位证和成绩单原件或公证件原件供学校复核入学资格。不符合入学条件者，取消入学资格。

Upon registration, international students should bring all necessary documents, including original ordinary personal passport (diplomatic and official passports are not accepted), the admission letter, the original visa application form (JW202/JW201), and the student visa for entry. New international students must also present the required original or notarized copies of their degree certificates and academic transcripts in either Chinese or English for JZCI to review the admission qualifications. Those who do not meet the admission requirements will be disqualified.

7.奖学金生申请

7. Scholarship Application

学校来华留学生可申请“晋中信息学院来华留学生奖学金资助”。奖学金用于资助学费、生活费、医疗保险费和基本教材费等一项或几项。奖学金可提供给各层次的申请者，包括学历生及非学历生，经批准获得奖学金资助的来华留学生，须参加晋中信息学院来华留学生奖学金年度考评，考评合格者可继续获得下一学年奖学金资助。具体奖学金申请办法详见《晋中信息学院来华留学生奖学金评审办法》。

International students of JZCI can apply for scholarships provided by JZCI to support their studies. These scholarships can be used to finance one or two items from tuition, living expenses, medical insurance, basic teaching materials, etc. Scholarships are available to all levels of applicants, including students of degree and non-degree students. International students who have been approved for the scholarship shall participate in the annual evaluation of the scholarship. Those who pass the assessment will continue to receive scholarships for the next academic year. For detailed scholarship application procedures, please refer to the “Scholarship Assessment Regulations for International Students of Jinzhong College of Information”.

六、医疗保险

VI. Medical Insurance

学校实行来华留学生全员保险制度。来华留学生必须按照国家有关规定和学校要求投保。对未按照规定购买保险的，应限期投保，逾期不投保的，学校不予录取；对于已在学校学习的，学校予以退学或不予注册。

JZCI implements a full insurance system for international students. International students must be insured in accordance with relevant state regulations and college requirements. Those who have not taken out insurance in accordance with the regulations will be insured by a deadline. If they fail to take out insurance after the deadline, they will not be admitted to JZCI; for those who are already studying in JZCI, JZCI will withdraw them or not register them.

七、食宿安排

VII. Accommodation Arrangement

学校为来华留学生提供两室一厅公寓，房内配有水、电、网络、 家具、卫生间等设施。单人间7200元/人/年， 双人间4200元/人/年。来华留学生可在学生食堂就餐，或在公寓自己备餐。

JZCI provides an apartment with one living room and two bed rooms for international students, which is equipped with water, electricity, network, furniture, bathroom and other facilities. The single room costs 7200 yuan per person per year. Double room costs 4200 yuan per person per year. International students could have meals in the canteen or cook in the apartment.

八、签证申请及入学报到

VIII. Visa Application and Registration

被录取的来华留学生应持普通护照、《录取通知书》、《外国留学人员来华签证申请表》、《外国人体格检查记录》、所有体格检查报告原件及经济担保资料原件前往中国驻来华留学生所在国使（领）馆，申请办理来华签证（具体要求请咨询当地中国大使馆或领事馆）。获签后，持以上材料按《录取通知书》规定的日期，到晋中信息学院国际交流与合作处办理入学报到手续。

The admitted international students should bring their passports, admission letter, visa application form for foreign students studying in China, form of physical examination record for foreigners, original physical examination report and original financial guarantee materials to the Chinese embassy (consulate) located in the international student’s host country to apply for a visa to China (please consult the local Chinese embassy or consulate for specific requirements). After obtaining the visa, they should bring the above materials to IECO of JZCI to register for admission according to the date stipulated in the admission letter.

学习时间在180日以上入学者必须持个人普通护照和X1字签证入境，在抵达中国后30天内需到市公安局出入境管理处将X1字签证转换成学习的居留许可。学习时间在半年之内可以申请X2字签证。

International students who intend to study in China for more than 6 months must enter China with their passports and X1 visas. After arriving in China, the students need go to the Exit and Entry Administration Division of Jinzhong Public Security Bureau to convert the X1 visa into a residence permit for study within 30 days. Students who intend to study in China for less than half a year can apply for the X2 visa.

2.如教育部及我校有政策调整，则以新政策为准。
